Blue Man
Group--these guys are amazing and words cannot do them justice so, all I
can say about this is that you have to see it to know what I'm talking
about! They have a permanent show in Las
Vegas at the Luxor!
Blood Brothers--a musical that came out of London...saw it
when I was there in '91. Fabulous musical. It's too bad it didn't
do well when it came to New York.
Cirque Du Soleil--If you have never seen any
Cirque
du Soleil productions, I highly recommend you grab the opportunity
to see it if it comes to a town near you!
Dralion--saw
this one in October of '99!
Ka--this
one blows all the other shows out of the water! It's the newest
permanent show in Vegas and I saw it with 4 friends while we were there in
February 2005. Definitely a must-see!!!
Mystère--It is worth every penny! It is
a mind-blowing experience!! I've seen it twice!! Take a drive
out to Las Vegas and see it at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino!
O--another permanent show in Las Vegas at
the Bellagio. (I have yet to see this one! It's on my list!)
Quidam--a traveling show. Saw this one twice
too!
Varekai--another traveling show that I saw on September 13, 2003.
Die Zaüberflöte (The Magic
Flute)--my all time favorite opera by my all time favorite composer, Wolfgang
Amadeus Mozart. I saw this in 1984 and saw a marionette production of it
in Salzburg, Austria, in 1991! The movements were so fluid (and I was
sitting so far away) that it looked like real people rather than marionette
puppets!
Les
Misérables--probably
the best musical out there! That is, of course, my humble opinion!
Seen it 4 times now!
The
Lion King--I was blown away by the way they were able to bring the
animated movie to life! An absolute must see and must see again!
Mamma
Mia!--I
saw this on May 5, 2001 in LA, and again on March 9, 2002, on Broadway at the
Winter Garden! I even got a
picture with the 3 main actresses of the cast! And I won't tell you
how many more times I've seen it since then! The way I figure it, this
is as close as I'm going to get to seeing ABBA live!
Miss Saigon--saw this one in London. It's good, but not
as good as Les Miz!!!
Phantom of the Opera--saw this one in LA. Wasn't very
impressed with it. Sorry...I just couldn't really get into a
love story between a freak of nature and some girl.
Stomp--yet
another production that you MUST see when it comes to town! I've
seen this one 5 times!
